About me
From a child I’ve always had an interest in photography. You would usually find me taking photos of horses or dogs using a disposable camera, trying to not waste those precious 27 exposures. I remember my parents buying me a Polaroid camera for my 9th birthday and being so excited that I could instantly see what I had captured.

At college I studied graphic design and also began working at a geological consultancy as a draftsperson. After 12 years I was made redundant and this pushed me to set up my own graphic design business from home. This also gave me the added bonus of being able to have a dog and in August 2017, Ellie, a 20-month-old Golden Retriever came into our lives. Ellie’s arrival coincided with me finding the time to pick up a camera again and made me discover which direction I wanted to take my photography in.
My style of photography is very natural and although I do edit photos, I tend to only remove leads and make minimal adjustments. During shoots I will spend most of my time laying on the floor or crouched in silly positions. It’s all part of the fun.
